About Us
A little information for you about the clinic’s founder, Eamonn O’Muircheartaigh.
Eamonn gained his qualifications from UCD in 1993 with Honours. He then sat the Irish Society of Orthopaedic Medicine exams in 1997 and followed on by doing a diploma in Injection Therapy in 1999.Eamonn established Maynooth Physiotherapy Clinic in 1996.
He has worked as a physiotherapist to the Kildare senior football teams from 1996 – 2005, winning Leinster titles in 1998 and 2000 and reaching the All Ireland final in 1998. He was then physiotherapist to the Laois senior football team in 2006 and the Wicklow senior football team in 2007 and 2008, winning the Tommy Murphy Cup in 2007. Eamonn has also worked with the Leinster Interprovincial Cup teams, winning the Interprovincial Cup in 2005 and with the Irish International Rules team in 2002 and 2003 Vs Australia.
Eamonn was also an integral part of the television series “The Underdogs” where he was acting physiotherapist in 2004, 2005 and 2006 which involved working with footballers, hurlers and ladies footballers playing against the All Ireland Champions Kerry, Kilkenny and Cork teams respectively. He also worked with the European Tour as a physiotherapist to the professional golfers at several events including the European Open, West of Ireland Open and the Northwest of Ireland Golf Open.
Since establishing Maynooth Physiotherapy Clinic in 1996 he has constantly strived to improve the service to his patients through investing in new technology including an Isokinetic machine, a HBO Chamber and MRI. He has also engaged other practitioners from medical and paramedical backgrounds to work in the clinic providing a multidisciplinary approach.
His constant search for “Best Practice” led him to establish, in 2006, the “one stop shop” that is The Leinster Clinic. The clinic now truly delivers service which can help you with any problem you may have.
