“AIMING AT OPTIMAL LEVELS OF PERFORMANCE”
THE MEDICAL SERVICES.
The Leinster Medical Clinic offers an integrative therapeutic model by bringing together the best of conventional and alternative therapies to prevent and treat disease and promote optimal health.
We recognise that each of these approaches in health management has a legitimate role to play and we thus combine them, where appropriate, to offer our patients a range of options tailored to individual needs.
We therefore approach chronic dis-ease in a holistic manner, focusing on cause, and not merely on symptoms, and encourage the active involvement of patients in the design and execution of their wellness management programmes.
By so doing we provide strategies that go beyond the reliance on prescription medication, thereby minimising the potential for toxicity or unwanted adverse effects.
Such strategies will focus on lifestyle modification, stress management, exercise programmes, nutritional support, as well as assessment of non-traditional bio-markers that may signal hidden disorders.
Acute illnesses for adults and children are managed in our Clinic in accordance with standard therapeutic protocols employing updated and evidence-based techniques.
Chronic illnesses may be assessed in terms of their underlying causes, which in many cases are nutritional deficiency or deprivation of balanced nutritional intake.
Sports Nutrition, in conjunction with a well designed exercise protocol, is offered to athletes, or for non-professional persons who wish to retain a healthy lifestyle.
A weight management service is offered in the Sphere Suite.
Acupuncture for sporting injuries and pain management is provided by Dr. Wilson.
Travel Medicine and Travel Vaccines are available for visitors to foreign destinations.
Infant vaccinations can be arranged through our partnership with a partner clinic that holds a contract with the HSE for this purpose. Our HSE contract for this service expired in 2010.
Adult vaccinations can be arranged in a similar way, or privately offered at a minimal charge.
Maternity & Infant Care is provided as a private service, since our contract with the HSE for the free provision of this service expired in 2010.
(NOTE: Since no GP in Ireland is permitted to hold a contract with the HSE for the provision of the above services beyond the age of 70 years, we were regrettably compelled to terminate the free provision of these services as from July 2010)
A Cosmetic Service is provided with anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler procedures, for which Dr. Wilson is trained.
A range of minor medical, surgical and gynaecological procedures is available, thereby eliminating the inconvenience incurred by hospital attendance or specialist services. Dr. Wilson is trained and proficient in the delivery of these services.
See our SURGICAL CLINIC SERVICES on this site.

Neville believes that the prevailing medical paradigm is severely limited by its singular focus on disease, rather than on opportunities, and the potential, for creating health and promoting wellness.
He believes that the future of medicine lies in the field of Nutrigenomics, which explores the science of nutritional regulation of genetic expression for health or disease.
